I rescued him when he hurt his wing as a juvenile, looked after him until he healed. I still remember carrying the young raven in my hands, who was being remarkably calm at being handled, almost as if he knew I was helping him... into my house and calling out to my mum. I was 8 at the time.
"Ma! I found this little black birdie! He's hurt his wing! Can I keep him until he gets better?"
My mum expected me to be holding a blackbird, not a fully fledged juvenile raven when she came out to see...
11 years later, due to issues in my life, I had him housed at a wildlife sanctuary. Think he's still there now.
And I'm in Scotland.

Reply your quite a kind girl and kind of lucky most crows won't let you touch their fellow crows if their hurt. I knew a guy who was trying to just help a lil crow with a caught up leg but the other crows pecked at him and then for several weeks chased and bothered him until he got a hair cut which i guess is how they recognized em
