Here's another 'photo-op' of yours truly, taken at one of the meetings of Scrabble Club 276 (at Veterans Park in Lauderhill, Florida)...
Sometimes, when the occasion calls for it, some of the Scrabble Club members bring in snacks to share with others - ranging from homemade cake and cookies, to store-bought treats like donuts. This time around, I'd bought two dozen Dunkin' Donuts (on sale at the local branch of the chain). And I'd brought a plastic knife, to cut each donut in half, so that the large number of players can try each half of a different flavor, leaving spare halves for others to taste.
My plan obviously worked, because there were very few donuts left in the box, by the end of the evening's activities. Club president Sandee Bloom snapped a digital picture of me (and the nearly empty box) with her camera, which I'd like to share with you...
