Expecting another main series chapter? Nah not quite yet, instead I give you a side chapter! This is essentially a precursor to the beginning of my series, as well as taking place before chapter 10 of 
Emberflame Foxheart's Bittersweet Tales series. I figured it'd be best to establish how Auron and his team ended up being sent out on their task to capture Zane after all, hope you enjoy!
Guild Administrator Marswick has been tasked by one of the Guildmasters to resolve the situation with the recently-titled 'Illusionist of Demise' after the crippling defeat and devourment of a full-fledged rescue team. With the veteran teams not anywhere near Virtue's Guild HQ, his wits are at their end, when hope literally comes knocking on his office door and steps inside.
