Her opponent charges and she smiles as the rocks fly towards their target, the staff held ready to follow-up with a crack to the head. 'I love being a hero,' she thinks to herself."

WAIT - So, she got captured and had her life ruined by French Rose, then captured by Violetta, then raped for 16 months by a supervillain called Sheikh Terrible?....Of all the Colmaton universe characters,

Ohmigod, sorry if I caused offence! I was just agreeing that you need to tone it down a little - perhaps ret-con some stuff or move it to a non canon folder/account, like vivavulpes did with 
VivaRedlight. I didn't mean to imply that you're some sort of sadistic maniac - what I meant was that sometimes as writers we lay it on a bit heavy if we're trying to make a character sympathetic; we punish them so hard that the reader gets too emotionally drained. I know because I'm guilty of it myself.

Thank you! I wanted to have someone to be DD's arch and was playing around with the idea of the magical artifacts, and I kinda remembered the Mandarin (one of Iron Man's arches and though uniquely done in IM3 was still woefully underrepresented), which is where she draws a lot of inspiration from, though I pared down a lot of the powers. Lately I've been going a lot of Dr. Doom as well especially with how RMR is going to end up. I wanted her to be a threat on par with the big boys here in the Colmaton U.
I noticed the Doctor Doom influence in her having her own country - that's why I like her. Loads of villains, like Sharpfury, Sandstalker and Violetta, really have no excuse for still being alive other than plot armour. With Red Menace however, you've made a villain who has a valid excuse. She has her own country as a base.
