Oh, they are these wonderful brown hard candies that have a little bit of a gooey center! I get them at the British store here when they have some. I can't even remember the flavour, it has been so long since I've had them, GAH! I remember that I really like them though!

I could get them in Canada without a problem, but down here in TX it is difficult!

Amazing how you managed to make this look both spooky and tranquil at the same time. Never seen anyone do that before.

As for the candy corn issue, hell as another foreigner currently stuck in the UK I'm as hankering for US confectionary as anyone else but to be honest I actually preferred Reeses (think it was the dark chocolate and orange filling thing, seemed more halloweenish than bright yellows and whites).

Oh well, at least over here they've got gummy worms and jelly beans so there's some degree of compensation. X)

It took me a long time to work out what cany corn was and I'm still not 100% sure....

Mostly colored sugar I think.... though.. im not actually sure either to be honest XD

England is such a back-water country at times... Especially where interesting food in concerned.

This is true, and even when we get interesting stuff, were always last!

We do have the Cadburys and that can make up for a lot of sins in that department. American chocolate isn't too pleasant.

It amazes me, neighbor-mine, that the colors you display are so luminescent and yet they never seem to clash or touch. It appears as two images being portrayed in one, displaying both the character and his action but also counterbalanced by the nocturnal glow from aft. This is an excellent color piece.

hahah awe, i had some candycorn and some candycorn shaped like pumpkins in a bowl today and my bird jumped onto the edge and started picking up the candy and throwing it out! it was v. cute.

Very effective, minimal colour palette - Makes the key elements stand out against the background, and of course the colours are also perfectly fitting for the theme/ season. I also like how the background is rather textured and realistic, yet it doesn't distract from the foreground - primarily due to the aforementioned colour contrast, I suppose.
