I remember that episode, that was classic!

"OMG, they made octopus ink ice cream, they seriously made octopus ink ice cream!"

They also made squid ink soup. Everyone professed to love it.

That's not the weirdest by far, though, that honor goes to Iron Chef French Sakai Hiroyuki with his Sardine Icecream. The judges also loved that, even though in his words they weren't supposed to eat it. x3 (he says that during the tasting, when the judges are saying how they like the dish. Though if they weren't supposed to eat it, then why did he make it?) He won that battle.

Is that a wookie chef? :O

Really loving these blasts from the past!

Fuck yeah Iron Chef! And by that I mean the awesomeness that was the original, not the remake. I give Chairman Kaga's nephew (I'm forgetting his name, atm. He's someone fairly famous, though) some points for trying to keep his uncle's tradition alive and giving it his own twist, but it just never worked for me. The only episode of that series that I liked was when they brought Sakai out of retirement and paired him with Mario. Too bad they lost to Morimoto and Bobby flay aka 'The chef with the planet-sized ego'.

The original Iron Chef was my absolute favorite show back then, with Iron Chef French Hiroyuki Sakai being my favorite chef.

This strip is how I discovered Iron Chef. Love that show.
