Continuing my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2017), I have another 'photo-op' taken (with my disposable camera) at the Palm Beach Zoo in Dreher Park (located in West Palm Beach, Florida). This is the second in a series of snapshots of a Malaysian tiger - my friend Kevin Duane and I saw at said zoo, back in July, 2017...
I recall the last time I saw a tiger at this same zoo (back in the late 1990s), it was actually cooling itself off in a manmade pond in the middle of its enclosure. In the present, when Kevin and I were talking to one of the zookeepers in the area, I'd told him about said recollection...
...when all of a sudden, as if it was being 'cued', the very same tiger that was pacing around the caged enclosure chose that moment to walk into the water of the manmade pond! Immediately, I took a picture of the big cat, as it began swimming across the pond! It couldn't have been planned any better!
I'll have one more 'photo-op' of the same tiger in the pond, shortly. And if any of you plan to visit south Florida in the near future, go to https://www.palmbeachzoo.org for more information about this unique place.
