As my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2017) continues, I present the third 'photo-op' in a series of three images of the same animal Kevin Duane and I saw at the Palm Beach Zoo in Dreher Park (located in West Palm Beach, Florida) last July...
When we last left off, this Malaysian tiger decided to go swimming in the manmade pond in the center of its caged enclosure (at the exact moment I'd told a zookeeper that I saw a similar tiger in the water, the last time I'd visited this very same zoo - back in the late 1990s). Setting up the next exposure (on my disposable camera), the big cat finally made it to the other side of said pond, and began emerging on its shore. So, I took one more snapshot of it, to complete this unique pictorial trio.
I'll have more 'photo-ops' (of other animals Kevin and I saw) from the Palm Beach Zoo, during the next edition of "Throwback Thursday". And if any of you plan to visit south Florida in the near future, go to https://www.palmbeachzoo.org for more information about this unique place.
