One more old drawing, drawn late last year (2016) before I vanished (again). After the reference was complete, I decided to try and experiment I bit more with shading effects and lighting, this was the result.

If it's not apparent by now, Melee really likes the color purple. Very rare he's seen wearing something that isn't, to be honest.

If you already watch me on DA and you're seeing this, know that I apologize for clogging your inbox with these old drawings. Please know that this will be the last old drawing I post here: From here on out - everything will be new stuff that may or may not be cross-posted over at DA (depends on the content of said drawing)!

Lineart W/Rejected Gown Design / Character Lineart / Flat Colors
Found these while I was rummaging through my Twitter account in September of 2022. Thought they'd be neat to share... also, note that Melee's gown was originally a bit more frilly and corset-like in the midsection before I dropped that in favor of something a bit easier to draw. Still prefer the current iteration to this day, TBH.
