The number one question I get in any picture of T-Ko is "why does she have a top, but no bottom?" Well, I'm nothing if not accomidating, so here you go!
I gotta do things like this once in a while to preserve that "animator" status on the top of my userpage- even if it is just this Mobian kid shaking her engine block. :) I posed a serious question to myself with this one- how much depth could I show with the limits of GIF- aka, no shading? Well, it turns out that equatorial lines can do wonders if handled correctly!

Nono, see, I was talking about this image. http://www.atalude.net/wp-content/u...../05/datass.jpg
A blanket response to any and all pictures of bottom-heavy girls.

Hahah, I'm totally posturing. I actually enjoy some of his stuff, it's just heartbreaking what happened to him over time- I sorta wish he'd retire. But I have to keep up the hate-on facade for the entertainment of
grayscalerain, who is a big fan. :)

I have to say that of all the rump-focused icon type things I've seen on FA, this would be the best. In my opinion anyway. It isn't stiff or jerky or grainy or anything like that. Though the tail motion is just a tad exagerate but tails are hard to figure out how to make look natural it seems.
I still think you should try something like this of Mashato from the front. All I can think of is a pair of large pendulums bouncing and swinging hypnotically. Trying to get the motion to be natural would be hard though.

Yeah, I'd imagine it'd be hard to get to look natural in a single still picture, let alone in an animation. Then again, the largeness would make it slighly easier. You'd still have to factor in the swing due to movement, plus how the legs would affect things if she was walking. Honestly you'd almost need a model to see how it would work to get it right.
All you need is a burlap sack or pillow case, and two equally sized sphere shaped objects, pants with a fly, and a sturdy belt. You've already got drawing the hips end hindquarters down, and melons would probably be a reasonable approximation of tanuki balls, all you'd need is someone you could convince to pretend they had tanuki balls. If it was a female doing the modeling you'd get the hips and butt motion as well.
Dayum, this is awesome! Nicely done Nori, nicely done indeed! Got some real good motion going on here.
Man, it seems every time I see something new from ya I wind up with the urge to try and draw something for ya. <_< I dunno, maybe it's a hope that eventually I'll inspire you to draw something for me. XD

I think part of your problem is that you're subconsciously equating two things that have nothing to do with each other. The inspiration to make art and the friendship of people are really irrelevant to one another. I mean, I have to push myself to do stuff for my own boyfriend. I put a lot of effort into it, but if he wasn't someone I wanted to especially do that for, I wouldn't do it. You know? Inspiration is so... chaotic. Unrelated to complicated web of social relations.
A fair point that, a fair point. Another part is thinking that if I do enough of something for someone they'll reciprocate...without being prompted to or without any kind of formal agreement.
I should probably have just come out and asked for an art trade, truth be told... *sigh*
Oh well...live and learn.
Doesn't mean I won't keep drawing stuff for ya tho, you always had a way of inspiring me anyway. XD And your reactions are still fun to see!
