Falling behind schedule - in my usual "Throwback Thursday" presentation - I have another big cat 'photo-op' to offer during 'sweeps month' (November, 2017)...
While roaming around the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach, Florida last Summer, I came across this jaguar in his caged enclosure, casually lying out in the open. I took its picture (with my disposable camera), and used editing techniques to 'zoom in' for a closer look...
I'm not 100% certain if that particular cat was 'Nabalam', the zoo's 22-year-old jaguar who (sadly) died of 'terminal cancer' in early November, 2017; but just to see this majestic cat was worth the trip. You can read more about 'Nabalam' in this "Palm Beach Post" article:
