Continuing a special Thanksgiving edition of "Throwback Thursday" during my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2017), I have another 'photo-op' of a bird I saw (several months ago) at the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach, Florida...
As part of a live stage show in the middle of the zoo, zookeepers bring out various trained fauna - to entertain a small, but loyal audience. One of the animals in said show is this blue macaw (a member of the parrot family) - seen here perched on the handrail amongst the spectators (who, in turn, took photos of the colorful bird with their cameras, smartphones, and tablets).
