Different kind of OC debut tonight, for Fernando is not only another Fatales character, but he's from the sequel that I'm currently pencilling. Yes, I know it's weird to be focusing more on future installments before getting a first book published, but things are going slower than I had hoped. But that's alright, it happens to all every independent cartoonist.
Anyway, Fernando here is an arctic wolf mage who dabbles in Physical Enhancement Magic (all of you fetishists out there raise an eyebrow), and acts as a henchman, err, henchwolf to Lupia Shark. The character is kind of an intentional blank, I wrote him in mind simply to act as a straight man, err, wolf to bounce off of Lupia's fiendishness. And also because I dig sorcerers over wizards. (Shaddup, I think there's a difference)
Anyway, blueraptor got to be the first to do an official drawing of Fern, but I couldn't help but barge in, stagger and then include my original take. Enjoy both... equally!
