Where do you get all these photos of ancient tombstones?

They're part of my collection from graveyards I've visited. Many recent pics, and some dating back 20 years or more.

Since this was too long to go on your Shoutbox: I feel like I should say something profound or thoughtful, but unfortunately, I got nothing that could add to the somber mood of your gallery. Are you a part of any historical societies that map the location of these stones and what they say? It may only be a few more years before some of these stones are unreadable. I'm sure some lost family members would like to reconnect with ancestors.

Short answer, no, I'm not affiliated with any historical societies etc.
I have thought about maybe submitting some files to one of those places at least once tho.

I would try! Some places might appreciate it. My mom's the only one who has rubbings of our family's plot and the stone is too worn now except from the rubbing. There's sites out there like deadfred.com that have photographs to try to match people to names, I'm sure SOMEONE out there would want a record of your work ;-; It just seems cruel to not know the history of these people.
