Asterix and Obelix has some movies and they were good.

Didn't expect to see art of this old comic but it's very welcomed indeed.

Is it that old?

I dunno when the book came out, but the animated movie was from..erm. 68 I think..

Goscinny started working on Asterix in at least the 50s. He's considered the poster boy for European comics and animation, in the same vein as Mickey Mouse.

came out in 63 and i saw the comic as a kid 20 years ago so yeah, it's fairly old but gold.

She does have a pretty nose.

I'm a big fan of French/Belgian comics and its so sad that I don't know anyone else that know of them.

You should watch the animated Asterix movies as well as read the other comics. They're very good! There are a couple live-action movies too but they are very hit and miss.

the animated movie is very strange.. but hilarious I'd recommend it.

This album teaches you how the Sphinx lost its nose, therefore it's a must-have for sure.

I've watched the Asterix & Obelix movies many times in my childhood and I still enjoy watching them to this day. Didn't read a lot of the comics though.

So glad to see you draw fanart of Asterix! It's one of my favorite (and family favorite) comics series. My favorites albums would be The Legionary, The Cauldron, In Switzerland, The Mansion of the Gods and The Black Gold.
As for Cleopatra adaptation, there are two movies, one a cartoon and the other a live-action adaptation. Can't say I'm a fan of either, I think the zenith of the Asterix movies was Asterix in Britain.

Ohhh dude YES! Asterix and Obelix are classic comics, one of my favourites as a kid. They fairly recently made an animated film called Asterix and the Mansion of the Gods and I highly recommend it, its legitimately one of the funnier films Ive ever seen.
