Hiddson: Hello and welcome to Bandits Breakdown. Your post game coverage for all things Las Vegas Bandits. Brett Hiddson along with my co host Terrence Thursday. Bandits looking like they have turned the corner to play some of its best football and not a moment too soon as they take on the Continental Conference leading Fargo Axemen.
Thursday: That's right Brett. Christina Carson has been firing on all cylinders since her brother Coby has retired taking advantage of the tremendous play of her receivers like Dexter Mullen, Nash Pony, and Arthur Christopher to name a few. A touch challenge for the defense but if they can handle it, they can feel confident about taking on any team in the league.
*cue highlights*
Hiddson: I think special teams is more what they need to be concerned about, if Arthur Christopher is making players miss like this and returning the punt for a 59 yard touchdown... and its not like the guy is the team speedster or the shifty guy but he makes it after dodging two would be tacklers.
Thursday: Later in half, Stapler trying to make a play to Vernon on a dump off but Stafford jumps the route beautifully for the interception. Stapler wishing he had that one back as Bernard Randolph gets the touchdown as the exclamation point for Fargo once more.
Hiddson: Stapler still struggling and it would continue in the second half... Carson on the other hand.... getting a 36 yard touchdown pass to and the Axemen in complete control of this one. 29-3 your final and just a bad game overall for the Bandits here in Fargo, North Dakota.
*transitions to Stapler in post game presser*
Stapler: I need to find a way to get better, or find someway to get my team better chances to win. I fell flat and I take full heat for that, I just have to find a way to fix my mistakes, best way to do that is back to the drawing board and getting after the next challenge...
*back to the hosts*
Hiddson: A look at Stapler there, frustrated the easy word to associate himself with since losing is something he hates to do more than feel the thrill of victory.
Thursday: True. With that competitiveness though, he has to find a way to channel that to get to those wins on the field, practicing the right way, working with his team and his coaches. He'll find his way back, but when that will be...only time will tell.
Hiddson: And we'll take some time to get a break in, and when we return. A look at the Bandits next opponent, The New York Titans.
