Anybody who tries to tell me that mimicking the Sonic Riders style of art is easy is going to get kicked. HARD. @o; *dies*


Anyways! This is actually an older pic. Probably going on nearly a year old now, actually. It was done before Sonic Riders even came out.

Because if anybody in the Sonic universes deserved to be put in Sonic Riders, it was Manic the Hedgehog. <3<3<3

Yes, I know his hoverboard is the wrong colours. But part of what makes the Sonic Riders art -work- is the fact that they have a certain main colour with little other colours in it. And giving him the red and yellow board just completely destroyed this. ;;;

So I gave him a green and yellow one instead. Hey, after all, if he were part of the Babylon Rogues, Wave woulda built him a better Gear, yes? Yes.

Oh, and you all know he'd be a Babylon Rogue. He so would~

Originally sketched in pencil, then brought to OpenCanvas 3 and inked and coloured there. Over a period of about... mmm... five hours? About that.

Doing those frigging shadow things made me insane. @_@
