Everybody knows Garrett is the nicest guy on Earth, however it wasn't the case of his ancestor Garrus, who would turn you into mashed/fried meat if you looked at him funny. Thankfully this historical role reversal also applied to Clay's ancestor, who made sure Garrus didn't do anything really, really regretful.
