Funny thing about that, I was actually talking about this very thing in a journal of mine here:

I was looking at Dungeons & Dragons, CBS Saturday Morning Cartoon that began in '83.
I had stumbled across an article on io9 about the 32 best examples of people "Trapped in a Game" to commemorate the new movie "Gamer".
One of them was the old "Dungeons & Dragons" cartoon, and it mentioned Episode 20. I went back and watched the episode (something I probably haven't done in 2 decades), and was actually FLOORED!
Here's a group of kids, ages 7-15, stuck in a fantasy world, getting sick and tired of running Dungeon Master's errands and having Venger thwart their efforts to return home. They've had it. So what do they do? They're ready to take the plunge and do what no other kids show heroes even think of doing:
KILL THE BAD GUY!
