Poor Drergal(?), I think the scene is really cute but I'd be unable to deal with my feet being tickled as it makes me angry. My rat self might be alright with it, but personally I hate it.

Poor Arden looks genuinely terrified, and I wonder if it might not be so much the tickling but possibly the feather itself since his attention seems entirely focused on it and there is I think a specific phobia of feathers, I think the term being pteronophobia. Looks like some tight bondage as well, the toes being individually restrained, as well as those rings in addition to the bar and elbow cuffs so Arden's thoroughly restrained, but leaving the tail free to move and allowing a little writhing and with the small toes free to move. Also easy access to the armpits and ribs if the torturer gets bored with just tickling Arden's feet.

With all we can see of the torturer being a brown-furred arm and a spiked bracer, I'll go ahead and imagine him as a gnoll, a brown hyena type rather than spotted hyena, somewhat shorter and more slender but more cunning than the average gnoll and just a little sadistic. I'm imagining the torturer will be swishing that feather for quite some time, grinning and just enjoying Arden's increasing panic while savouring his increasingly frantic pleas for mercy. Only when Arden is absolutely on the verge of breaking, more or less about to lose his mind will the gnoll suddenly shake his head, sigh and then drop the feather.

"Fine, I won't use the feather," he'll say, before giving his broadest, wickedest grin, "Not like I even need it, with these nails."

Then the gnoll will lean in and very slowly and gently at first start scratching his sharp nails over Arden's soles, his own sinister laughter almost but not quite drowning out Arden's hysterical laughter and muffled pleas for mercy.
