Heheheheehe^^ well Fat Eternal certainly doesn't look happy he looks very annoyed or irritated about something....perhaps maybe....his ropes might be a little too tight :)

Ah so he joined the pirate gang haha I see^^ my bad didn’t read the description beforehand so I assume this must of been Eternal after a crazy night out after eating and drinking. Mainly cheese and beer would certainly make any rat fat and gassy^^ *toots*
Hmm...so this must be a form of hazzing for new recruits, tie the new guy up tight with rope and lock him away somewhere on the Pirate Ship. Hehehe^^ well hopefully he has a friend to talk to otherwise it might get a little boring for him just sitting there. But on the other hand perhaps not so much, keeping himself busy trying to free himself from his bonds. Or he can simply try to get himself comfortable and fall asleep...

but my original idea behind was that the pirates, include this ex-inkeeper, are allready hired and firm as pirates with somehow of a carriere and reputation among the caribean colonies.

This was more the first episode of an ongoing story, where Fafnir and his pirates are arrested, as a measure of introducing them^^, they are threatened to be hung at the gallow, but somehow Fafnir can come to an agreement with the authorities and at the end he and his crew became privateers^^

I second that chubby guys always look good in ropes. Seeing a big beer belly male with a tone muscular frame all tied up in ropes with hands/paws tied behind the back is really just x1000...but that’s just my personal opinion ^^....even more so when gagged

no, the idea behind was some kind of pilotepisode of a tv show like this black sails franchise

the pirate crew of Fafnir is allready gathered, but as they are introduced to the audience, they are arrested in the process and up to be executed, but at the end they are freed, because captain Fafnir comes to an agreement with the authorities and the pirates are serving as privateers from that time forth. Thus is the background story

He was among the pirates who waited for to be hung, but he and his companions are freed at the end after Fafnir accepted the contract to become privateers

Ellwyn Ternal really hasn't had much luck over the years, though I suspect at the moment he's probably wishing that he'd remained an innkeeper if he's still getting tied up so often but at least then maybe he wouldn't need to worry about facing the noose. Though as the newest member of the crew and if most of the pirates being kind to him, maybe he'd have been able to get clemency if he hadn't been involved in any real acts of piracy yet, though I doubt the authorities much cared for it. At least with Fafnir having been able to make a deal for his crew to become privateers, Ellwyn can have the time to adjust to his new life and enjoy the freedom, even if he'll probably end up getting tied up many more times in the future.

It would be interesting to see how things turn out for Ellwyn once he gets more experience, though I'm sure he'd remain a chubby, slightly unlucky fellow but maybe all that experience at getting tied up will pay off. He's quite a friendly, harmless looking rat, and not someone you'd really consider dangerous like some of the other pirates but maybe he'll have picked up a great knowledge of bondage, knowing just the right knots to tie and how tight to make them. Let's say he starts carrying some rope on him, and those whom overlook him or underestimate him might find themselves being the ones tied up, and Ellwyn Ternal becomes the expert in taking prisoners and making sure they're not going to escape their bonds any time soon.

I don't think Ellwyn will ever not be lovable though, and maybe he'll get a lucky break at some point even if he's someone it's fun to see in bondage. I could see him and Rick getting along very well if he ever appeared in a Western style setting, though I guess we'll see what new misadventures will await Ellwyn in the future.

Ellwyn will get used to his new life as a pirate or privateer. I start to like the idea that Fafnir´s crew will receive some kind of positive reputation.

And Ellwyn willl get his chance to turn the tables on his future enemies for sure. Let´s be fair with him and let him have fun. Being tied up and tie up others can lead to a certain well meant understanding... perhaps^^
