Well, its just my opinion but thats why I am saying the term "animal" its like too foreign, like the narrator was not and animal itself tho it is.
I see the point, but maybe if you put them as, I dunno, the specie they are, like a cat and a hyena, for example, maybe that would fit better.

I like the names Sebastian is someone normally associated with royalty or a servant someone with elegance although acolyte is a bit... perculiar cant wait to find out the reason behind that.
