[EMERGENCY;HCZ09 BREACHED, ENTITY "KARBEIDIS" APPROACHING SOUTHERN WALL]
It was the one thing that could wake up Hyles Layk even if he had barely slept. The HCZ alarm.
He had barely completed wearing his Trooper suit when he caught up with his teammate and friend Bambang, who was already wearing his Ranger Suit.
They met up with the other members of their assigned team, OSTF-Shadow 137, as he and Bambang were positioned into the inner section of the southern wall.

It started a week ago when one of those 'Weavers' suddenly appeared above Mount Surrowskye and proceeded to play with it in ways that no mountain would even deserve.
The UAN found her, directed her to the 9th HCZ created by Neuwerk, spoke to her, found out her name, and she decided to be left in HCZ-09 all while making escalating demands of "messaging" to the world about some stuff involving tons of chaos.

Even from where they are, Hyles and Bambang could hear sentry gun fire and bursts of deranged laughter instersped with roars of pleasure and the ear-grating sounds of materials warping. It was discord indeed.
They looked at each other as the seconds counted by. Unsure wether they could even stall Karbeidis long enough for Neuwerk to deploy a RDS device in the area. But then again, he isn't even sure if tha-
Whatever thoughts he had, were replaced by tons of reinforced nano-concrete and steel beams melting before him. And on the other side was a grey-skinned Weaver with a manic grin plastered on its face.
As reflexes and training commanded, he unloaded a flurry of 5.52 rounds from his RAC-6 while Bambang did the same thing with his EAC-4, except Bambang was annoyed that several rounds were wasted in his hurry to avoid a 1 ton right hand from slamming into him.
Even with this, Hyles still isn't sure if they could hold her back for very long.
The only thought he had in his mind was,
We are so screwed.
