mine are surprised that I have broadband too...but here its just a country thing....although it did take a satellite dish to get it here for a long time...now I get wireless T1 from the nearest town because I live on a hill and have a tower tall enough to pick up the signal.

Oh if only you KNEW what the people here in the Bible Belt of America thought about Mexicans and other people.
There are a lot of Mexicans here because I live in the Nursery Captial of the World, and the rednecks here are mostly white supremest...so put two and two together to get eleven. These people here are idiots...seriously.

It's a nickname for the South Eastern portion of the US that is still EXTREMELY religious. Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama are definately part of it. It is general attitude is white supremicy, a redneck "ya'll" and things of that sort (You just have to hear that. It's not something I can really relay to you unless you've heard it.), Southern Baptist is the primary religion (Baptist, but the "Hell Fire and Brimstone version. That's something I just can't describe.), and they take their religion so far, open racism and discrimination of anything except white Christians is WAY too common.
I don't mean to down anyone here, it's just quite a few people here are idiots because they 1.) Don't like our new president JUST because he's black 2.) Hate gay people to the point of persecusion JUST because it's against the Bible 3.) Many of them don't want to learn about ANY thing except farming. I'm not saying there is something wrong with that last one, but just SOOO many people don't care about the expansion of knowledge to the point that they impeed other's expansion by screwing around in classes.
I'm a gay, atheist, furry, and I'm OPEN about it, so I get ridiculed EVERY day. I have a bit of a hatred for "rednecks", who are the people who tend to roam the Bible Belt of America. Not everyone around here is like that, but the entire US tends to group anyone from the South East into this attitude, so it has to be more common here than anywhere else in the US.
If you don't understand any of that, please tell me, and I'll try to explain it better.

I have heard something about that about Alabama. About all the rampant racism and homophobia...wow that sucks D: in plain 21th century and acting like 19th one?! v_v
that kind of religions are not here thankfully but catholics do they type of damage in other ways (like women rights)

Yeah...that's part of the reason I became atheist. All these religions doing more harm than good now-a-days...they can't be "right".
It's probably worse in other places, but I like to complain about how it is here. My boyfriend's parents absolutely hate me because they think that I "brainwashed" him into being gay. Now they are sending him to a Christian psychologist to try and "straighten" him out. It's all because of their stupid religion.

Heh, if you want a straight answer regarding the Bible, you can go to me. I am not THAT experienced, but I know plenty.
By the way, I went to your comment only becuse I was reading the comments in this submission, so please do not think that I am a "gay-hunter" or something. (Yes, I am a Christian.)

I guessed as much, and it's fine. I understand that I said some contraversal things.
It's not that I can't get a straight answer. It's when they confront me saying things like "Furries go to hell" or something stupid, I retailiate with some remark and they can't answer it when it comes to the Bible.

That's what I mean when it comes to the "idiot rednecks". They really only want to learn about farming. They don't even want to learn about their own religion. I know more about it than them, but then again, I want to learn about all the religions to see if any of them make since. So far...no...they don't. Not to me.
i put this in english to prove that we DO are able to learn english, damn those ppl rly what do they learn in school? Of course theres some stuff that isnt quite nice like prices in food, meds and stuff like that -PS3 - but hey Mexico is quite nice, i love my food, oh yeah we mexicans dun eat only tacos, there's lots kinds of mole, enchiladas, pozolo, quesadillas, callos a la andaluza, pancita, adobo, tamales, romeritos, tortas ahogadas, migas, and lots and lots of candy X3, u must visit cancun, acapulco is overated
We have Wal-Marts up here as well. However, the stock is a bit different. Mostly sleds, harnesses, sled dog chow, and tools for building igloos (they've yet to undercut the price of snow itself, but I'm sure they're working on it). Although the freight's brought in by bearsled (bears are stronger than dogs), they don't carry bear chow, mostly because it doesn't come from the U.S.
for many americans there only countries in the world is their own, canada, mexico and the current one they are invading... i mean... fighting for US safety and freedom (even if it's gazzilon kilometres away) ok this is a doomsday sort of affimation but many in many countries still think that this or that country people still live in stone age...
wall mart and starbucks aare chains that didn't put a foot here or have it and didn't expand

I have a high affinity for Puerto Rico (my home country), but my interests seem to be more Japan-oriented...
In terms of food, I eat rice and beans (a typical Puerto Rican meal) almost every day, though I eat more "United States" food as well.
I am surprised that there are Sams Clubs in Mexico, but I would be surprised to find Sam's Clubs at countries other than the U.S. or P.R! (Yes; there are Sam's Clubs in Puerto Rico, as well.)
By the way, I seriously want to knowhow much do Pepsi, chips, cookies, and milk cost there. (...no "lambs and donkeys" answers, please. I want a serious answer.)

a 500 ml bottle of pepsi costs 5-7 pesos (depends of the store) which is around US$ 0.50
chips ditto depends of the size and label. a small pack of chips from sabritas (the mexican version of Lays) costs around 4-5 pesos..yeah also US$0.50 ^^
milk a litre costs around 13 pesos which is more or less 1 dollar.
and cookies well that depends of the label and size too but there are around 20 pesos more or less, which is like 2 dlls

Also, since a lot of people are asking...
No one asked me about any Puerto Rican stereotypes. In fact, I do not know of any, other than the non-stop playing of regaeton (and that is only due to my English teacher recounting his first time in arriving to Puerto Rico). Even so, people around me keep asking if I am from the Untied States (since I learned English from US channels that play in Puerto Rico). Even someone from Sweden (on the Internet) thought that I was from the US or Europe!
