Elrest and folk both awaken in the morning, seeing folk sniffling, Elrest feels his forehead knowing hes sick with a cold.
Elrest: oh you poor thing, let me help you, told you not to spend so much time out in the snow shoveling.
Folk: oh come on you got home from work and wanted to relax i wasnt minding that
Elrest: well your staying in bed, im calling in sick for work, and your getting better, got it
Folk: yes my sweet dragon
seeing the stove not working to make soup, elrest breaths fire and cooks the soup in a pot over his head
elrest: my hubby isnt going to get sicker on my watch, tomato soup and grilled cheese for my perfect fluffy puppy
going in and seeing folk resting he sits by his side keeping him warm cuddling up to him. folk awakens asking if hes afraid of getting sick too
elrest: if that means you take care of me for a change i dont mind you cute fluffball now eat your soup.
Folk eats it up loving the taste of fresh made soup.
folk: you adorable dragon, come here and kiss me.
elrest kisses folk seeing him sprout up fine and kisses him grabbing him by the shirt.
elrest: were you really sick?
Folk: kind of but i couldnt let you go in this blizzard, sometimes you gotta stay in and relax, we got food, electricity, and each other, so come on into bed and let me love you silly.
cuddling in bed the two watch tv seeing the snow fall and ignore it kissing and holding each other tight. the night looms over and they make prok fried rice and vegtable dumplings together with folk coming in seeing that elrest is wearing a new apron, and nothing else.
folk: trying to get my attention big guy.
Elrest: i never need to try sweetheart, now come help make the dumplings the rice is almost done
folk looks and helps make the dumplings lickig the sauce off his fingers and wipes some on elrests face, kissing it
folk: just needed an excuse to do that.
taking him by the shoulders kissing him passionately making his tail wag, elrest laughs smiling at him as he blushes
Elrest: never make an excuse to kiss me you fluffy pup, now lets eat
the two eat seeing the time fly watching old anime and decide to hook up the old N64 and play super mario 64 til bed time they look at the clock striking midnight and head to the bath, lathering each other smiling and kissing as they enjoyed a day of relaxation, holding one another close s the soap drips from their bodies, elrest holds holk in his arms under his chin smiling
elrest: im glad your not sick, i dont think id handle you being in bed all day, or for a long time for that matter.
folk: you worry so much, its okay though, im not going anywhere.
while he comments to elrest, he boops his snout and tells him he will always love him no matter what might happen. they wash off and head to sleep in bed, elrest cuddling folk with his body heat keeping him warm

Folk: your the perfect heater my sweetheart, i love you.
Elrest: i love you too folk now get some rest,
