Surprise.

I like the duality of the "Contentment" on display here. The obvious satisfaction is immediately noticed on Vempyremon's face. She looks rather relaxed, about to scoff her face. Her body language is limp and resting, utterly natural - or as natural as one can be resting against the belly of a giant serpent.
But she's not the only one content here, the Dragon is too for different reasons. Enjoying her company, feeding off of her own deep sense of contentment to fill his own.

Then again.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Vempyremon looks so nice partnered up with anything and anyone red in colour or design, just a fact.
The poses are wonderfully smooth here too as I said above. I like the raised wing, as if it's about to gently fold down on Vempyremon and cuddle her deeper.

Everything about it rules, actually.
