There is a modifier in properties panel named Multiresolution that subdivides the mesh and smooths it out, but it can mess up the retopology on more complicated models.
I'm not using it very often, i myself, just go into edit mode and work around with the verticies untill the model looks the way i want.
Unless you are talking about shade smooth, for that you have to select the model, press space, type in smooth and select shade smooth.

Well, you know when you have a fly in your room and keep failing to kill it so you kinda learn to live with it...
this is not like that, Silver just has a way with animals, plus she's been growing up with a dragon since she was like 7 so she learned how to deal with claws, which don't really seem very dangerous when your best friend spits out a fireball every time he sneezes.
