I try to go for those action poses. A lot better, I think, than a simple side view, or something. Those angles can be a pain in the butt sometimes, though!

You're gonna get a lot of compliments from the tummy fans.

Very dramatic, kind of a comic-book action scene. Love the whole angular, sharp, jaggedy motif you've got going on here. Makes it look even more dynamic and energetic.

And this wuff REALLY likes your idea of using the "fish-eye lens" look, with the background curving around the perimeter of the scene. Especially with where you positioned you point of view to exagerate and emphasis that delightfully bulging tummy! Of course Vargr would notice that first! *big grin* Glad you chose to make his belly round and fat, instead of large and angular. Despite the ominous feeling of his pose, hands, and face, wuff still wants to hug and poke the pot belly so predominently thrust in Vargr's face. *grins*

Thanks so much for the comments, wuff. This 'coon is glad you enjoyed the doodle! ;) Now, it's not so much that I intended the focus to be around Templeton's belly, there, but more that his belly was in the way of that dramatic angle!

Not much programming involved, Rank! I got my pencils, my pens, and then I kinda spruce things up a lil' in Adobe Photoshop, and voila! Doodle!
