Meh got lazy and couldn't really finish a poem.

I wanted it long, narrative, and free verse. Lot of symbolism here, if it isn't obvious. I tried to write it in middle English like the kind of really old poems you'd find. And it's not every day that you write a poem starring a poet. Adding dialogue in itself was weird.

Chances are I won't finish it.

EDIT: No longer in my Scraps. Also, I didn't realize it at the time, but the poem that inspired this one was actually an excerpt from The Song of Songs.
