I'm very open for commisions, but ima be heading out of town to hang with a friend, then anthrocon, then stay with family.

I see a semblance of vertebrae/spine
and it looks like it's mimicking muscle.
Although I think I'd prefer a more subtle control of it, myself. :3
I also think this could be under a fursuit tail,
like a skeleton. :D
Excellent design, though, I like.
i used basic prosthetic limb designs used for replacment arms but modded it for a tail, i also used a certain type of foam to replicate muscle texture.
mhmm, i've had many people use them with suits before.

I love this mechanism so much. another furry dream crushed.
Well if I see them around I'll be sure to get a video of it in action
cost me $100 in parts, and easily 20 hours in making it time.
