'Veckie' isn't like the other Vek: nobody understands them, none of the other Vek look like Veckie does, and no other Vek wears an oversized pair of small glasses meant for getting closer looks at people and things smaller than them. Quite recently on endeavors to save different timelines from the menacing giant insects, this particular one has been rather troublesome by following mech pilots around. Research came to the conclusion that Veckie is actually a Langolian following these pilots due to the disruptions in the space-time continuum brought up by time breach technology... They just so happen to take on the appearance of a Vek.

Veckie spends most of their time on the Archive Inc. Island, where the lectures of old and past technologies charm the time creature dearly. They can feed off of things in specific instances of time, and the information from Archive Inc's libraries can be a real treasure trove.

Just because Veckie looks like a Vek though, doesn't mean they are always in control of the abilities Vek posses. Veckie takes the form of a 'Firefly' Vek, and cannot control the ability to accelerate the volatile caustic goo in their abdomen via the Firefly's special thorax. The result is Veckie running about trying to keep the goo contained whilst destroying everything in their path. This process is worsened by Veckie's diet of: vehicles, people, buildings, and lesser mechs.

Fighting a creature that is essentially connected to time, and space is pretty much impossible. So attention temporarily shifted focus from clobbering giant bugs with big robots, to deriving a method of manufacturing the worlds biggest antacid! Probably... Either that or just idly observing Veckie while pilots continue to free timelines from the Vek threat.

Of course the mere presence of a Langolian is a bad thing for anyone involved. Even more so than squashed time pods, or unintentionally romped 'Diesel' trains. Veckie probably follows mech pilots around due to the possibility of devouring instances in abandoned timelines... Or maybe Veckie just likes the company of someone who likes to hop timelines as much as they do... Or maybe they actually feed off of the lost potential of mission 'good noodle' stars, or perfect islands!
