This is a little challenge I've been working on for nearly a year now, of drawing something in a little green book every single day. The original challenge was thought up by Jerry Seinfeld - it can be applied to whatever your field is, and the basic idea is that you do something productive, that keeps your hand in or whatever, every single day. So I've applied it to drawing.

I'm only uploading this series on DeviantArt for the most part, but there are two pages which are 100% furry stuff, so I felt like uploading them. This is the first.

For this page, I tried doing something a bit different as opposed to the usual whatever-pops-into-my-head: keeping a theme throughout. And I chose ponytails as the theme - I thought it would be interesting to draw everyone from the back, which is something I rarely do. This is the first page without any fanart of any kind on it (most notably Pokemon); all of the characters here are original, and I only just had enough of them to fill the page.

183. Ursula starting things off with some extremely subtle sideboob.
184. Suki, jealous of Ursula's more impressive ponytail.
185. Pandora with her head spikes tied into a makeshift ponytail. Really, I don't think they'd be flexible enough to do this.
186. Neon Snek with a wig. You might not recognise her at first, without her signature colours or signature baldness, but it's definitely her. (Also, I tried to make the wig look like a ponytail version of Bratty-from-Undertale's hair. After seeing this comic that  skoon did, I kind of headcanon that Bratty wears a wig.)
187. Ruby, the strawberry dragon.
188. Yira, who can't have a ponytail at all because her crest isn't long enough at the back.
189. Breezy the sugar glider. She also looks quite different from the back, and without her goggles and scarf, and with some magically-appearing extra hair at the back. She's giving an encouraging thumbs-up to...
190. ... Vespera, who's feeling shy and embarrassed (and also has magically-appearing extra hair). I think this drawing was the least successful. It's hard enough drawing any of these characters' heads from a rear angle, but I just couldn't quite do it with her. Also, if you don't already know she's a bat, you might look at her arms and be like "What's all that stuff down there?!" because it's not immediately obvious that those are her wings.
191. Admin Fennec doesn't want to take part in this. I thought it would be funny to have him at the end, but I also kind of needed to. Like I said, I only just had enough characters to fill the page. I do have others, but I either haven't drawn them so I don't know what they look like, or they wouldn't have provided enough variety (e.g. I could have drawn Sann-driya, but she's a dragon just the same as Yira, and I couldn't think of anything unique for her to be doing).

Note: Admin Fennec is the book's mascot. He started out as some random fennec telling me off for not trying hard enough, but I liked him so much I brought him back again and again, and now he's appeared more times during the (so far) 30 pages than any other character.
