So, looks like I'm going to spend a lot of time going back to old art and redoing it.
Clip Studio Paint EX has a pretty nice animation function, and I wanted to give it a whirl. I picked the most basic thing I tried in the past and well, it became less simple. Doubled the frames, put in all of Nikkii's outrageous pattern details and so on. I don't much like the traffic bits, since I rushed that part, but I like the rest.
I don't know how some people get such beautiful, smooth results out of their animations. More focus and patience than I'll ever have.
Anyway, enjoy Nikkii's hypnotic hips.

I loved that little animation back then and this redux looks even better now. Great job! I also didn't know that Clip Studio does animation.
As for the choppy frames, I went ahead and doubled the framerate. Might be a tiny bit too fast but I think it helps: https://image.ibb.co/eDTB9H/cougr_n.....01a_double.gif

Heh, heh. I got mad at someone else over doing this with the first animation. I'm much better now. :P
Anyhow, the point of the slowness of the cycle is to emphasis the size of her. Moving all that would take some time. I'm likely going to do a version without background that will be at a higher frame rate. Smooth her out, as it were.
But, yeah, it's a two-second cycle to help make her feel enormous. I'd have to add more frames to smooth it out. And I'm lazy. I need to do other things. :P

Ooh, I see. That makes sense, sorry for misinterpreting that.
Keeping the size in mind, the only way to make that happen is to add more frames, like you said. I can totally understand the struggle that is drawing more frames, especially if the character has any patterns going. Keeping stripes, dots and whatnot consistent is a pain. That's also a reason why I usually make small sized pixel art animations, they are just much less work overall and you don't have to worry too much about details. After all, I'm lazy too ;P
Either way, this animation is adorable and I'm gonna enjoy looking at it a lot! X3

It's looking really good. For being a beginner in doing animations, this already looks like the work of someone with alot of experience. I might suggest reading on the 12 principles of animations. It will help you make your characters movement feel more alive.
Also, it looks like its stuttering a bit. If you don't mind me asking, what framerate is the animation set to?
Anyhoo', congrats on a well done animation. I like how naughty Nikkii is acting and how the city seems to bounce with each steps she takes. Really great stuff!

"You all laughed at me when I said you could build a skyscraper out of pool noodles, well WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!?!"
Reminds me of when I visited Japan around 2000. A bunch of people were dining in a restaurant at the top floor of a tall building when a small tremor hit, causing the quake-resistant building to wobble and sway. All the Americans in the room were super tense and alert, while all the Japanese were calmly eating, 'cause that kinda stuff happens all the time.
