Vampire Connection
The Other Forms
Over the weekend Lora and Nicholas ended up running into each other a bit. While she hadn’t seen his parents yet, the female vampire enjoyed seeing the male. That left her confused since no guy before him had made her feel this way. What was embarrassing was when her mother had been around. The female succubus just giggled and got a look on her face like there was something going on between her daughter and Nicholas. Lora blushed hard, arguing in her head there wasn’t. However, because of the succubus, the younger female began to find herself thinking of Nicholas more than she should.
Monday then came around and like usual it found Lora arriving at the school. Nicholas wasn’t at the usual place where they would meet every day. But then it was obvious why. Looking showed the male vampire was with three others. One of them had spines like a porcupine popping out of the back of his head but in a stylish manner. The guy was a monster porcupine. The second was beautiful with long orange colored hair and multiple fox tails making her a spirit fox. The final person was a male with black hair but there was a third eye in the middle of his forehead with martial arts slippers for shoes. This person was a Yasha.
Nicholas looked up and waved to Lora who came over. “Sorry about that, but it’s just I ran into some of my friends I left behind,” the male vampire explained. “They moved here last week and are starting today so they’re new like me.”
“Oh, I see,” the female vampire replied, her eyes wearily going to the female who seemed to be out of her league. This girl seemed like someone who could be a rival for affections.
“In any case, let me introduce you to them. This is Danny.” The Yasha nodded. “Drake.” The guy with spines smiled. “And finally, Ellie.”
The spirit fox girl smiled and looked to Danny. “I’m just sooo happy we’re at the same school!”
“Yeah, yeah,” the Yasha replied. Lora saw the way Ellie looked at him. It was almost like this female had a thing for him. It was beyond that of a friend; it was a girl who had a crush on him. That made the female vampire breathe a little easier. And here she thought this new person would be a rival for Nicholas’s affections. That made Lora stop and blush hard.
“What is wrong with me?!” she thought inside her head. Why should it matter if Ellie had a thing for Nicholas? It wasn’t like Lora and him were dating at all. At the same time though a quick thought of him holding her came into Lora’s head.
“So then, shall we get going so we’re not late?” Nicholas said, interrupting her thoughts.
The small group went to class. As it turned out, only one class besides gym was where she ran into Danny, Drake, and Ellie. But when it came to that time Lora and Nicholas met up with all the others. This lunch he had wanted to spend more time with the new people to catch up. But the next day everyone would eat together. Everyone was soon gathered and talking amongst themselves. “Alright class, listen up!” one of the gym instructors said. Since there were so many monsters with different abilities, there needed to be more than one teacher in this class. “Today we’ll be starting the part of teaching you how to control your individual abilities. We’ll now dived you up in similarities to what you can do.”
It was no surprise why Lora and Nicholas were in the same group. Now while she could turn into a bat with no problem, the real challenge was learning how to go faster than she could. The attack on her last Halloween showed that. “What we want you to do is head through our obstacle course as fast as you can,” the teacher they were with said to the group. “The goal isn’t a race though. If you need to take your time, that’s perfectly fine.”
The students were called up one by one in alphabetical order. Nicholas was one of the first up. Lora watched him turn into his bat form. The guy wasn’t as big as her father’s bat form but this guy was an okay size. The color was light brown and the eyes glowed light green. Lora watched in amazement as this male flew the course like he had been doing it all his life. “Excellent!” the teacher told the male vampire when he was finished.
The rest of the students went and then it was Lora’s turn. Her bat form was much smaller due to not only being fully grown but also because she was a female. The same applied to Nicholas which meant he would get bigger to. The colors for Lora were white eyes, her hair being shorter but still the same color as before. The wings, hands, and feet were magenta but the fest of the body was pink. Lora did okay on this course and came to a stop by Nicholas who still hadn’t turn back into his regular form. “Not bad at all Lora,” he stated. “Keep at it and you’ll get as fast as me.”
“Thank you!” the female replied, blushing somewhat and smiling. The rest of the class went by without too much incident. But what would happen next would make the relationship for these two begin to grow deeper.
