This part of Wolf Boy actually more than the events that actually take place within it stands as a "crash" in the story in terms of its development. After writing this scene nearly a year and a half ago now I got lost with where to guide the story next or how best to proceed events. I had ideas for what I wanted to do, but they weren't effective for one reason or another and in my frustration I put off work on the story. That ended up getting delayed further from stresses at work and other life matters and sadly work on Wolf Boy faded into the back of my mind. I'm at a place now where I want to actively rise to meet the challenges my stories and my writing as a whole presents. Part of me believes that I may have stopped at that time because I feared about making a wrong choice with my writing and not having the story be successful as it grows closer to its end. But not making a choice in all of that time only hindered the growth of the story. I was reading an article recently that described clutter in our lives as a result of postponed decisions. Well I certainly want to remove the clutter from Wolf Boy and reach the completion of this story. Everyone's support who has read my work and commented on how much it's meant to them and how they've enjoyed it motivates me to be my best as a writer and a content provider for all of you. So thank you for accompanying me on this journey for all of its ups and downs. You really make it all happen.

I'm going to have to agree with Estobhan. I read all eight parts through late last night and am still reeling today from the emotions it stirred. Other than a few editorial niggles (which I'd be happy to share), I found the story heart-rending, the writing poignant and the subject matter relevant to anyone else who's longed to go through a similar transformation.
Hopefully you can find the creativity in you to finish the story off from here and print it alongside Russell's beautiful illustrations. It would be a real shame not learn what becomes of Nylca and Starlight and whether they're indeed able to reach their end goal together.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this out Yarwick. I'm glad that you enjoyed the story as thoroughly as you had and you are welcome to shoot me over a note with any additional feedback or things you noticed while reading for editing purposes. The story itself for as much as I have done on it is still very much in an early stage in my mind. Nylca and Starlight's story itself will transform in its own way as I go back through and make many fine-tuned edits and changes to the story to further enhance what's in place already.
