Huh, no, because you usually forget what things you built while you were drunk... And generally when you're drunk, it's also pretty hard to write something which can be read later... Long walks also help, reverse psychology (not thinking about it) and playing games, good games i mean, like the old interplay/black isle style where you can see other points of view and other kinds of stories/plots.
