So apperently, while I was at my cousin's house celebrating a birthday there, A set of baby birds that had been nested on their roof had gotten kicked out by their momma. apperently it was time. But this one didn't seem to do so well once out of the nest. The other scampered away fluttering it's wings. it seemed to be fine. But this one ended up not looking too good. So i've been designated as Bird Daddy for a day or two while this guy rests to be able to leave.
It's name is Bean.
Update. Bean has officially left. woke up early this morning and woke up Bean to find that they were hopping around in the box, and took them out. Bean perched on my finger pretty nicely, and fluttered right to a branch I held them to. Washed my hands, and when I came back. there was no sign of Bean.
Good luck Bean. :3

We had a dove for a few years. Mom found it beside the road, unable to fly. We took it in, nursed it back to health. Only thing is, it still couldn't fly. So we took care of it for a good long time, occasionally seeing if it could fly. Last year, we were moving to a new place, so we decided to try letting the dove go one last time, and it flew away!
We never gave the dove a name, because I didn't want to get too attached to it in case it up and died. But honestly, I did kinda get attached. I still think of that bird when I see another mourning dove.
But I digress. Have you looked up what kind of bird that is online? It'll help a lot.
