FIXERSNIGGERATED just sounds like such a nifty word for a cranky otter to use in engine maintenance. :)
Must be some sort of technical term.

Captain: Wait... that what?
Engineer: Normally I'd tell you that I need to repolarize the magnetic coil shielding and recalculate the coolant ratio, but they'd all just say I'm technobabbling, so forget it.
Captain: I err...
Engineer: Nevermind. Lemme just hammer this garbage back into shape...

I like details like that. I'd love to add tons of detail, but then you can lose the story in the details literally. That's a problem I have with some beautiful artwork out there that is so busy and wonderfully drawn, that you tend to forget that it's only there to help the story along.
Ja. However, there, it adds a bit of visual detail to an otherwise bland pipe that runs right across that frame, and it's a nice reference that folks who work with, or are at least trained to occasionally deal with (yay OSHA training), pipes recognize. Makes it more...engineer-y, too.
I was sorely tempted to put in a black outline of a vertical column with slot openings in the immediate foreground to the right to add some depth of field, but the page already was black heavy on the right side so I left it out. Tonal balance on a page is imporant for flow as well.
Why yes... yes I do know FA has that code. I've been told that on every page that I've posted so far along with private messages. I also see plenty of journals talking about how it sometimes breaks, leaving comics orphaned.
Nah, I'm good with the way it is done now. It's not terribly difficult.
