Well I decided to upload some pics of how I draw just in case anyone wondered.
This dragon is Anaemica (better known as Scarlet) and belongs to a friend of mine. It is her dragon that I have used for this.
This is Stage 2.
In this stage I 'borrowed' a fresh piece of watercolour paper and using a finely sharpened HB pencil, I lightly copied the previous stage neatly onto the new one, making adjustments to wings and limbs as I went. I sketched in the feet using my hand on its side for reference to get the joints.
I drew in some of the finer details as well. It is best when drawing tattered wings or rocks to lightly hold the pencil above the page so your strokes are very light and shaky to get the un-even effect. You can then go over the lines harder once you got them the way you like.
