As per
VincentCorbeau's request, here is the reading of my piece Amongst Ancient Friends.
This reading was the most difficult of all the pieces, and after seven takes, I gave up, as I still couldn't get it just right. In the end, I have decided to use the fifth take, as imperfect as my reading is, simply because it at least got the feeling across a little better than the others. Ah, well.
I still hope you enjoy it, as flawed as it is. :P
Special thanks to
Ramseys for providing the equipment and kindly serving as recording technician, and to
Mulefoot for his hospitality and kind support. :)

Wabi-sabi, my friend, wabi-sabi. :P
Yes, I did enjoy them both very much.
In fact, responding to your last comment to me, I think they sound better in your voice than the one I read them in.
Maybe the words just flow more naturally out of your mouth than mine?
Either way, they sound brilliant still to me, despite any imperfections. Thanks! :)

There's wabi sabi and then there's kintsugi.
But thanks for your compliments, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Also, I don't think there is an 'incorrect' way to read this, as every reader gets something different out of it, so your reading reflects what you get out the piece. As such, I'd be interested in hearing it. :)
