Gee... my EYE can see who this is but I cant think.... hmmm.... Perhaps I should PIERCE my mind and use the wisdom of BENJAMIN FRANKLIN to deduce the character...
*chuckles* all right, I am bein' silly. But seriously, awesome "Furry-ized" version of the top funny man of the 4-0-7-7.... Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce! Surgeon and part-time liquor maker!
Awesome job, Flinters! Cant wait to see who you will do next! Keep it up!

In a sense. The original movie of M A S H came out during the Vietnam war. While it was using the Korean war as a backdrop, it was really taking on the Vietnam conflict.
I loved the movie, and the TV show for the most part.
I did fall out of liking it so much in the latter years of it. It began to be "too preachy" at times, but it was still a good show even then.

Let's see. There was John Macintire (a.k.a. Trapper), Lt. Colonel Henry Blake, Margaret "Hotlips" Houlihan, Frank Burns (a.k.a. Ferret Face and several other such names), Walter "Radar" O'Reilly, B.J. Hunnicutt, Charles Emerson Winchester III, Maxwell Klinger, Father Francis Mulcahy, Sherman T. Potter, Igor, Zale, Rizzo, and Sidney Freedman.
Oh! And who could ever forget out favorite psycho Colonel Flag? XD

Anybody remember a Saturday morning funny-animal "M*A*S*H" take off called "M*U*S*H"?
I didn't think so.

You mean it was never explained why the show was on Saturday morning TV for real, or why his show was on the air within the show's make-believe world? (I'm getting a little too meta here, I realize.) Some people think hostile, nasty characters are fun - and if you look at Cartman on South Park, they may be right.
Anyway, at least Uncle Croc was a kiddie show host dressed like a crocodile - and didn't he have a flunky dressed as a rabbit with a TV screen in his tummy? (Or am I confusing him with a teletubbie?)

Why would they explain on a TV show why the TV show was on the air in the Real World...? Also note that Cartman is intended for older viewers, unlike Uncle Croc... The rabbit didn't have a TV screen, he was just your typical sidekick gintoid intended to throw Uncle Croc's Nastiness into sharp relief...
