Yep, that's why it's actually not as scary as you'd think going to these sorts of events.
Even if somebody from your normal life recognises you, and then somehow wants to blackmail you with it (those kinds of people don't tend to get invited to these kinds of parties though), it's kind of hard to out you to your normal life without also outing themselves.

You're doing a TREMENDOUS job of keeping me on the edge of my seat. I constantly can't wait to see the next page. I get all sorts of squirmy feels from this.
I admit, I sorta hope that this ends with them in a relationship where he teases her on base frequently. Since he's at this party I'm quite certain he's accepting of her, and that gives me hope that having this shared space gives them more ground to be friendly at least.

PCS has to go through her boss anyway, so he'll deny it, most likely. Then, if she tries to go around him, it still has to come back to him for comment. He can totally ruin her career. On the other hand, if later on this day, or on Monday, they sit down and talk about this, I would rather suspect that he will be understanding. Good bosses, especially who are caught up in the same sort of thing, often are. I think Anastasia will be just fine.

Look at the next page, she might be using it. I'm not sure how Marellis is handling it now. She did disobey a direct order, and that's grounds for punishment in the military. He could easily ruin her, if he wanted to. But, I think he also realizes what she adds to his commant. Then, of course, he would have to explain it to her father, who IIRC (and not mixing up my own story about her) is a General. Then, the General would be asking Marellis about it, and that might not be a great conversation to have.
I don't think Star is going to skate on this one, far from it, but I do think it won't make it OVERTLY to the office, either. Too many people like Yuri to ask questions. Not happening.

At the very least, I'm kind of expecting him to make use of the fact that she's already on notice from Manda, and set her up to get into much more trouble at the party. I've got a feeling that he'll keep it out of the work life, save for the ominous passing comment or covertly teasing her without fully revealing her secrets to others.
As for her orders--I'm not sure how the British military functions, but troops are generally capable of disobeying unreasonable orders. Assignments overlapping with padded playdates are acceptable as an unreasonable order, right? :P

Marellis also has, I believe, a lot of respect for Star, although it's tempered by her actions sometimes, like being late, and other stuff. Kind of like you really want this person to be, pardon the pun, a shining star in your organization, but she keeps shooting herself in the foot.
I believe that this will be a little secret between the two of them. Not sure what comes out of it later on, but I don't think it's going to be bad.

Hi Star, seeing this comment now. There are two things you may need to focus on while you draw. Maybe put a little bit less detail for Furs and ovjects in the background. Just a teeny tiny bit less.
And the second thing, think of time-spacing. It means that objects need to be in the exact same spot like in the page before. Not that its happens, but always a good thing to remember. I love these series! So please keep up yhe amazing work. I can totally relate to Star, cause I'm also very uncertain about the Abdl world. ;)

Star's all terrified, and in the comments everyone's talking blackmail and embarrassment and woe... Meanwhile, I wonder if this isn't simply the perfect opportunity to patch up their differences. Perhaps if they get to know each other better, their work relationship will also improve.

Considering I've been on so many different sides to this...It wouldn't surprise me if he feigned blackmail just to be a jerk.... or secretly sent in pictures he might have.

fucking creepy. if a random co worker just started getting all touchy feely lovey dubby caretakeery on me id be so fucking disgusted. theres limits that need to be addressed and boundaries that need to be broken first before shit like this happens. but i guess it is to be expected from this comic.

Well, consider how much Star knows about Manda, Tessa or Lure (yes, I did say Tessa). I mean, she's only been with them a couple of times, and she's opened up her littleself to them, gone to a little party with tons of people she doesn't know, and then runs into her boss. High risk on her part.

im still in the no go on all that too i was just responding to this specific panel is all. i have many opinions on a lot of stuff here but im not one to go to past pages and voice them all. besides as we all have kinda admitted. it is this type of comic and this stuff is gonna happen. thats the point of comics to push past boundaries and rl limits. i just was in a ranty mood and got out a little today where i normally wouldnt. its nothing against the author nor the community. i have no ill will towards anyone. just got in the zone and let it out so while i know its a comic i felt like voicing myself a bit. even if not something i normally would do. ^^

I do wonder what would happen if she envoked it and he would continue to belittle and push her anyway. I mean with her outfit and petite proportions it's obvious she is no match for him physically. Not to mention the outfit makes her mentally no match as well. I would imagine a sub invoking the safeword and the dom disregarding it would be something outragous. I've never seen it happen but I would imagine it's a serious deal.
