Got this magma derg from  Graywolf13 as a potential rival to Tydas: his fiery name (which Graywolf came up with, not me!) seems a perfect foil to a mangrove drake's watery name. This granite-scaled dragon does live near an active volcano, and his shiny looking underside is actually gold and very smooth to the touch...if your touch can stand the heat he constantly gives off! His breath attack is actually just him spitting out a globule of magma he has stored within him, and yes, he is fairly unique in that he can consume pure lava without burning up. On the contrary, most creatures hit by his magma spit...well, they can't stand that kind of an attack for long. The downside to such a potent attack is that he can only do a few of them, at which point he runs out of magma inside him and has to fill himself up again when he gets back home. So he doesn't do so unless someone really ticks him off! Other than that, he's pretty standoffish to strangers, but once someone gets to know him, they find he becomes quite loyal to his friends and will defend them fiercely depending on how close the friend is.
