This is a tune originally designed to be played on fiddle. A man called William H. Steppe took the more popular Bonaparte's Retreat, a slow classical march, and turned it into a song worthy of a hoedown. I adapted it to 5 string banjo and haven't been the same since...

If anyone watching this can play Clawhammer Banjo, the tuning I am using is gCGCC, I call it Triple C tuning, (Quite the leap of imagination).
