The final layer of the background. I envisioned the otter's village situated on a grassy field not too far from the ocean (although one can't quite make it out here).

(That actually is fairly close to how I envisioned the Otter Village in the story I wrote that introduced Ooo-er.)

(Without going back to the story, I think I had the huts on platforms built of bamboo and/or wood, and it was a bit inland from the shore. The village certainly would have been in sight of the ocean.)
