OK, i think i've been on youtube a wee bit to much lately...
I gotta agree with Spyro here.
When Spyro beat him the first time, he was a LOT younger, right? Weaker, prolly, too.
Sure Malefor might not have been taking him seriously, instead of going heavy from the start like he is now, but still.
Spyro CAN'T have been slacking off in his growing years. He doesn't seem like that kinda dragon. But Malefor should have gone into some atrophy during his hibernation!
Is Malefor just this badass?

AdamZero, you make a very valid point here. Malefor is somewhat overpowered here.
And Spyro seems underpowered which doesn't make sense...
The only way this is possible is if a cursed jewel or some other power booster is somehow responsible. Spyro shouldn't be losing like this. I don't care if the storyline is an alternate reality or not.
Spyro and Cynder getting their asses handed to them by Zonoya and Malefor...? OH COME ON! Even I can't buy it because it doesn't make logical sense. Spyro and Cynder don't seem like lazy out of shape pair. Even with Malefor gone there had to be some other dangers or challenges that kept these two active and in shape. I mean look at Spyro... He is muscular and looks like he is really good shape. Cynder also looks like she is also in good shape...
So what in the world is going on here?
