Oh good grief, how mortifying. This page finally brought to light how unbearable this situation could be in real life. I met with my new dept. chair two days ago. He's a wonderful guy and I expect we'll get along great... but if I even ran into him (much less sat in his lap and had him coo at me while I was having an accident) at a abdl/little event... I'd die. No ifs ands or buts, I'd just lay down and die.

Yeah, I don't think he's actually evil. But he's her boss, seeing her completely vulnerable and getting caught disobeying a direct order. She deserves to be punished, but in this way, it doesn't have to be publicly. I hope they both have a good talk after all this is over. He may try to hold it over her, but the fact that he's there and not a stranger shows that he's been into it longer than she has.

Star may be terrified that he could use her babyness against her at work, but she has something on him. His presence and how he is acting towards her, Manda, and presumably others.

Only the part where he talked about work really crossed the line so he NEEDS to get in trouble for that. The rest of what he’s doing is what you do to Little’s (horsey ride and whatnot.) while she hasn’t safeworded yet there’s no way for him to know how she’s feeling however he’s an ASS for not consoling her, she has NO idea if she’s going to be ok.
If you think the proper response to a little breaking character (after having been explicitly instructed not to talk by a caretaker, mind you) and telling you to go fuck yourself while clearly very angry is to continue to treat them as if they were little and try to calm them down with knee-bounces, I sincerely hope you are never around vulnerable people in a caretaking capacity. That shit is not okay.

The only real argument I’m making is he doesn’t know Star is new and is probably under, an INCORRECT assumption, that she could get free and so this was just playing around. Again all the more reason this IS NOT OK, just that I see why he would think that. There were several moments where things made me uncomfortable.
Example, STAR broke a rule and she was punished within the realm of play, even though it was a PARTY rule that was broken, which usually ends in dismissal from an event.
Not a specific example but STAR seemed very uncomfortable about things several times and at no point did anyone sit down and check in and make sure things were ok.

Also, unless they have a big bonding and forgiveness moment he should be asked to leave. However if it were at my house I would have probably asked Star to leave before that could even happen. Less then an hour in and she broke one of the rules I had in place. That shows me even if she’s with friends that how can I trust her to follow any other rules?

But there is an actual, real-world power dynamic at play here and Star has already made it clear that her boundaries have been crossed and she wants out. This creep has straight-up ignored that, and kept on going. This is awful, abusive behavior; I'll go further and say that if the rest of the social group doesn't kick this guy the fuck out once what he's done has come to light (it's already troublesome that no one at the party has intervened yet), they're on the hook for enabling it.
I honestly don't think which badge Star is wearing or what room she's in makes any difference, given how explicit she made her discomfort a few panels ago.
I really hope that this resolves in a way that's sufficiently-forceful about how fucked-up and wrong this is to make all the readers who don't see anything wrong here have a long, hard think about whether they're the kind of person who can be trusted in a situation like this.

Unless I’m mistaken the only thing star communicated was go fuck your self which to me wouldn’t indicate anything other then it seems to be her playful banter, like I mentioned earlier he NEEDS to be reprimanded since referencing work and not at all comforting her about he fact hey know each other is NOT ok. She also LOST her tag so he should still be more careful. Though to be a devils advocate he may not know she’s super new to the scene either. This may be HALF of how he normally acts and just figured since Star came with Tessa and them that she was more into it.

This isn't a "needs to be more careful" situation, this is a "needs to be ostracized for being an abusive fuckwit" situation.

I'm kinda hoping this ends with serious apologies for some of this, aftercare discussions about how boundaries were crossed, reminders that "fuck you" is not the safeword, and discussion about how they now need to be transferred apart from each other.
That's sure what I'd expect a good boss to do, if he's not really meaning to be harassing.

I think a structured upload would be a fantastic idea. theres periods where i wont check FA because nobodys posting anything, and when i finally come back my feed is bombarded with all sorts of stuff. I wouldnt want to accidentally skip a page because its buried underneath a mountain of other submissions LOL
This is probably being said a lot but Marrellis is just ticking off notches in the con column. Yet he's someone who's intentions are hard to read through just the text becuae it's still just a picture and text. Amazing as BabyStar is with her art, tone is never easy to convey without sound.

Matt needs to get kicked out of that gathering permanently. Out of context this looks fine, but in context this is the worst possible thing he could do - given, he *could* just be trying to not be dramatic and fit in, but if he was, he should have let Manda know he knew Star outside of the gathering. He should have avoided 'playing' with someone under him in a company unless they were on good terms - and they most certainly are **NOT** on good terms.

I'm saying this "Matt" is a arse .But Star should have cleared up with him that her duty got covered so he got aggressive however he didn't need to be such a dick to her within the party a later time yes but post to her outbreak instead of going into denial he should have given her space and I feel like he does care he is just shit at showing it like when she does a back flip his face is screaming oh shit no. So he's a questionable person to me still and I feel like their relation will be more stable then before and I'm sorry but star I love your art never stop you make me laugh cry sometimes both while still keeping your people padded so see us next time in the next comic strip
If I were in that situation and the guy was STILL making me incredibly uncomfortable and forcing me to stay with them... I'd probably spit out my paci and scream my safe word so loud my caretaker would hear me no matter what part of the building they were in x.x this whole situation makes my skin crawl.. it feels so wrong
