Another piece of the series of Medieval/Renaissance-inspired songs and dances.
In this one I enjoyed playing around with the major and minor key in the tune.

I just heard a Renaissance inspired piece by
Cat Wirez ! There must be some zeitgeist going around FA. I love this kind of music. Makes me think of some old strategy games I used to tinker with. Great structure to the song, it really fits other tracks I've heard that fall in the same era/genre.

There's definitely something in the air... I'll have to check out Wirez's piece now! I too love medieval and renaissance music as well as 17th century popular music (english country dances for example, I've almost finished a piece based on a few of those actually!). So true, a lot of medieval-themed games feature some really good soundtracks.
I used to teach English country dancing, in what feels like another lifetime. It was a pure joy and I even wrote several songs to dance to, again many years ago. Glad to know there are others out who enjoy it. I find myself wistful toward ever dancing again. It was a rare skill that came naturally to me once I began.
Ah, the magical trance one goes into with music, it happens to me sometimes while playing the piano. That's great your songs made it into the final performance, it must have been fun to hear them "for real" with the dancing. (Replied beneath by accident!)
