Is he heading up or down?
Had a few false starts with this one. The plan is to recreate it in acrylics now that i've (maybe) figured the colours out. I'm sitting here bored waiting for gesso to dry. Traditional media requires so much preparation and waiting about that I tend to over-think everything. Hence the false starts.
Here's an earlier attempt. There's a couple more in the scraps gallery.

With a face so nice I used it twice.
With high voltage and tall ladders, there's alot of tired references I could make...

Tell me about it! I was posing 3d rigs, looking up photos, watching videos of Fred Dibnah (cool guy, look him up on youtube) but it was hard to make it look relaxed. In the end I set up a ladder in the garage and took a photos of myself on it for the reference. It fell over too but I caught myself on the bench.
