She wanders across the dark and desolate plains, separated from her home and everything she once held dear. There is nothing for her to look forward to, and nothing to go back to. Instead she walks with heavy paws down a dark and lonely road. She howls to the starless night skies, calling out for company in the darkest hours, but receives no call in return. Even though she accepts her fate to live alone and die alone- her heart still dreams... A dream that she would rather have fade out of existence and bring her peace instead of such sorrow. Her heart is heavy with loss and there seems to be no light at the end of the road, yet she trudges on... She is a lone wolf...

I'm not sure how well this speaks to the situation, but at the moment, it feels... Right: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXUC.....mp;feature=fvw
I've done my damage in the past to people. I'm sure you've heard of one case in specific, Makki, but I will share no details here. We continue on, as hopeless as it seems, for those right moments and for the right people, and who knows when they come - or if they come. I'm not sure if it's insulting to say, or if it's reassuring to say, but no-one is alone because so many others are alone. Surely someone walks the same path, it's just to dark to see each-other until that light is lit. We never know just how much the darkness holds a person's sorrow as it does their happiness.
Faith is what leads us blind.
Faith is what leads us to despair.
Faith is what leads us to the light.
Faith is what leads us home.
We should never have too little of it, but we should not have too much of it. We must maintain faith, though - and not to god, but to ourselves to pull through the darkness where no trace of light exists, and even when the only things we can take solace in turn against us. Our time has passed, and our time will come, so long as we still have faith. Without it, we have doomed ourselves, but if you should ever fall, my paw will reach for yours and take hold to bring you back, whether you wish for the help to come or return kicking and screaming. You are never alone.
And so it goes.

I'm not sure what else to say Makki. I feel like I can do so much more to help, to heal that broken soul, but I also know I've done all I can. All that's left for me to say or do is promise that I'll always be there for you. My paw will always be there to pull you out of the dark or to have someone to walk the same dark path on. You've never been alone.
